Zeeosphere Ceramics, LLC Assumes Ownership of the Former 3M Business in Poca

Earlier this year, 3M announced the closing of its facility at Rock Branch Industrial Park in Poca. The announced closing affected about 20 employees and the announcement indicated that the facility would cease operations on April 30, 2009. The good news is, the company re-opened in the same location with most of its former employees as Zeeosphere Ceramics, LLC www.valentinechemicals.com.

Valentine Chemicals is a division of Valentine Sugars, Inc., a privately held Company located in Lockport, Louisiana. The company re-opened as Zeeosphere Ceramics, LLC, under the ownership of Valentine Chemicals on May 1st.
