PCDA/PROTEC Holds Informal Joint Meeting


In the photo above, left to right, PCDA and PROTEC board members Wayne Bennett, Johnny Harris, Jack McLane, Glenn Jeffries, Gary Young, Bill Motsinger, Alan Noffsinger and Dave Bagnall.

Two groups that seldom gather in the same place at the same time held an informal joint meeting on May 24th. Although the groups do not often meet together, they do work together. PROTEC (the Putnam Regional Organization for Technical and Economic Development (created in organized in 1991 is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization with a purpose of supporting the efforts of the Putnam County Development Authority. In the photo below, PROTEC’s President, Gary Young, (4th from right) gives a brief presentation about PROTEC’s mission.

The joint meeting was held at Sleepy Hollow Golf Club in Hurricane.


On the other side of the table, (left to right) Bonnie Prisk, Gary Sims, Sr., Rick Slater, Ron Stone, Mandy Curry, Bob Leslie and Al Howard listen to the presentations. Not pictured but present at the meeting, are Mike Lutz, Steve Andes and Dave Bunger.

 The groups decided to conduct a joint meeting at least on an annual basis because of the success of this meeting.
