Putnam County Leadership Class Graduates

PCDA’s own Willa Spradling was among the 2011 Putnam County Leadership Class. Leadership Putnam County has, for 22 years, extended the opportunity for participants to be educated through nine on-site classes to help them understand our community more thoroughly. The purpose of leadership classes is to help develop new future leaders in a community by preparing the next generation of leaders.

Marshall University Head Coach, John “Doc” Holliday, the guest speaker, along with Marty Chapman, presented plaques to 15 participants recognized for completing the program. The reception was held at Sleepy Hollow Golf Club on Friday, June 17 with approximately 60 guests in attendance.

The 2011 Leadership Class graduates, pictured above, included Ashley Alford, Putnam County Chamber of Commerce; Christopher Allman, Allman & Associates; Suzanne Ball, Hampton Inn; Ryan C. Broyles, Calvin Broyles Jewelers; Terry Burdette, AEP John Amos Plant; Curtis R. A. Capehart, Dinsmore & Shohl, LLP; David Carovillano, West Virginia American Water; Scott Jones, AEP John Amos Plant; Trisha McClure, City National Bank; Kathy McGettigan, Poca Valley Bank; Rob Murdoch, City National Bank; Kay Roberts, Poca Valley Bank; Willa Spradling, Putnam County Development Authority; T.
