In the photo (left) First Lady Joanne Tomblin helps Mary Zigmond-Hensley cut the ribbon to celebrate the opening of the new Sugar Shack Bakery and Café on November 17th.

Ms. Zigmond-Hensley hopes the new bakery will give Putnam County residents a place to purchase home-made baked goods like specialty cakes, pies, cupcakes and fudge. She also said that this is the time of the year for pumpkin pies.
