PCDA Board Adopts Resolution of Support for Coal Industry

At the April meeting of the development authority’s Board of Directors, the board adopted resolution no. 2009-02, a Resolution of Support for West Virginia’s Coal Industry. The resolution was adopted in support of the many companies in West Virginia and particularly in Putnam County that depend on the coal industry to remain viable. A copy of the resolution was forwarded to Governor Manchin and to West Virginia’s Congressional delegation and to state legislative leaders.
