PROPERTY SALE COMPLETED AT HURRICANE TO

HURRICANE MARKETPLACE, LP

    March 22, 2007 -

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

"We closed on the sale of the 4.48 acre tract adjacent to the new Wal-Mart Super Center at Exit 34 (Hurricane Exit) last week," according to Gary Walton, PCDA  Executive Director.  Hurricane Marketplace, LP, a West Virginia corporation, is the purchaser.  The property was purchased for $534,707.71.  The company also purchased approximately 2.2 acres from Mike and Michelle Mullins.  That property is located in front of (east) of the PCDA property.

"Part of our agreement with Hurricane Martkeplace is that their development will result in filling an area adjacent - and to the north of - the development resulting in an approximately 1-2 acre parcel that the development authority will be able to sell at a later date.  The developers will also construct a paved road to the new site.

Hurricane Marketplace's property will be accessed using the same new entrance as the Wal-Mart site, according to Walton.  "I'm not certain what retail/commercial businesses the company has signed to occupy the new buildings.  The plans call for several buildings divisible into 12-14 different commercial businesses."
