TOYOTA PRESENTS NEW MINI VAN TO PCDA
July 29,2002 -- Partnering with its North American headquarters,
Toyota Motor Manufacturing, West Virginia, Inc. (TMMWV) and its team members commemorated
the production of the ten millionth Toyota automobile built in North America on Friday, July 29th.
To help celebrate the event, officials from the Buffalo plant presented Toyota Sienna mini vans to the Putnam County Development Authority (PCDA) and the Putnam Career and Technical Center (PCTC). PCDA will use the van in its efforts to attract and retain jobs in Putnam County. PCDA's President Wayne Bennett accepted the ceremonial key to the new van during ceremonies Monday at the plant in Buffalo.

Pictured behind Mr. Bennett in the photo is David Copenhaver, General Manager-Administration, TMMWV. Mr. Copenhaver also serves on PCDA's board of directors.
PCDA Executive Director Gary Walton said "the new Toyota Sienna will be a wonderful addition and will certainly help us to do a better job when showing available industrial sites and buildings to prospective industries. We certainly appreciate Toyota's generosity and willingness to help us do a better job."
