September 22, 2000 - Tuesday, September 19th was a great day for the PCDA. At the West Virginia Economic Development Council (WVEDC) meeting at Pipestem State Park, an awards luncheon was held to recognize the efforts of local, regional and state development groups.
At the Awards Luncheon, the Putnam County Development Authority received Awards of Merit for both its Newsletter (PCDA Perspective) and our Internet web site www.pcda.org. The awards were presented by WV Development Office Executive Director John Snider and accepted by PCDA's Executive Director Gary Walton.
Walton said he was pleased to receive the awards showing the efforts of the PCDA to keep the public informed and to make it easier for new and expanding businesses to find information about Putnam County.
